MISSION STATEMENT  

The Karaoke Club provides a respectful, safe and inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and cultural awareness. Singing is such a powerful vehicle that supports our student’s emotional needs by allowing them the space to destress, unwind and build their self-confidence. In addition, our students autonomy is strengthen through student choice of songs and their reading fluency skills are enriched while reading the lyrics to the beat of the music. Singing (music) positively influences their academic performance, supports their social development, develops teamwork, increases engagement in school, and provides an outlet for creativity that is crucial for their development.
